The Florida Department of Health in Jackson County (DOH-Jackson) is proud to participate in the Vaccines for Children Program (VFC). VFC helps families by providing free vaccines to doctors or clinics who serve eligible children and is administered at the national level by the CDC through the National Immunization Program.
Childhood vaccinations are available for no charge at DOH-Jackson.
DOH-Jackson provides the following immunizations for children:
- Diphtheria
- Tetanus (Lockjaw)
- Pertussis (Whooping Cough)
- Hepatitis B
- HIB – Haemophilus Influenza Type B
- HPV – Human Papillomavirus Vaccine
- Polio
- Pneumococcal Conjugate
- Measles
- Mumps
- Rubella (German Measles)
- Varicella (Chickenpox)
- Hepatitis A
- Influenza (as needed)
- Pneumonia (as needed)
- Meningococcal
- Rotavirus
DOH-Jackson offers the following immunizations on a limited basis at a nominal fee for adults:
- Tetanus/Diphtheria
- Measles/Mumps/Rubella
- Hepatitis B
- Hepatitis A
- Influenza (based on availability)
- Pneumonia
- Meningococcal Vaccine
- Monkey Pox
