By MaryBeth Gurganus

September 22, 2017

DOH-Jackson partnered with UF/IFAS Jackson County Extension Service to host the 2nd Annual Heart and Sole 5K Walk Run at Citizen’s Lodge Park Saturday the morning of September 16th.  Sponsors also included Jackson County Parks and Recycling, Badcock and More Graceville, West Florida Electric, Gurganus Painting and Handyman Services, and Gulf Coast Sexual Assault Program.  Seventy (70) participants from various age groups and fitness levels enjoyed a morning with a lightly overcast sky and gentle breezes to challenge themselves to “be active.”

Here are some pictures, courtesy of Sarah Ford from our WIC Department, for your enjoyment.
