Please call (850) 526-2412 for an appointment.  Cash, check, Visa, Master-card or Medicare Part B will be accepted.  Please bring your Medicare Card with you.

In the U.S. influenza results in approximately 200,000 hospitalizations each year.  Annually over 36,000 people in the U.S. die from the flu and most are age 65 or older.  More people die from flu than from any other
vaccine-preventable disease.  The Florida Department of Health, Bureau of Immunization, has materials
available promoting the importance of flu vaccination at Florida Health Immunization Section Home.

The Department of Health Jackson County is proud to participate in the Vaccines for Children Program (VFC).  VFC helps families by providing free vaccines to doctors or clinics who serve eligible children and is administered at the national level by the CDC through the National Immunization Program.

Childhood vaccinations are available for no charge at the Jackson County Health Department.

The Department of Health Jackson County provides vaccinations for the following vaccine-preventable diseases for Children
          ●  Diphtheria
          ●  Tetanus (Lockjaw)
          ●  Pertussis (Whooping Cough)
          ●  Hepatitis B
          ●  HIB - Haemophilus Influenza Type B
          ●  HPV - Human Papillomavirus Vaccine
          ●  Polio
          ●  Pneumococcal Conjugate
          ●  Measles
          ●  Mumps
          ●  Rubella (German Measles)
          ●  Varicella (Chickenpox)
          ●  Hepatitis A
          ●  Influenza (as needed)
          ●  Pneumonia (as needed)
          ●  Meningococcal 
          ●  Rotavirus

Adult vaccines are provided on a limited basis at a nominal fee. Vaccines offer include:
          ●  Tetanus/Diphtheria
          ●  Measles/Mumps/Rubella
          ●  Hepatitis B
          ●  Hepatitis A 
          ●  Influenza (based on availability)
          ●  Pneumonia
          ●  Meningococcal Vaccine 
          ●  Monkey Pox
